Adeline Kingsley

Psychologist

Working days: Thursday and Friday

Adeline holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and is passionate about supporting young adults through identity development, life transitions and career counselling. She is dedicated to helping clients develop tools for emotional regulation, stress and anxiety management and guiding them toward self-discovery, emotional growth and resilience. Adeline is also experienced in facilitating psycho-educational workshops, debriefing and crisis intervention.

Adeline’s therapeutic approach is integrative; incorporating elements of cognitive-behavioural and psychodynamic therapies. She tailors her strategies to each client's unique journey, fostering a holistic path to a more fulfilled and balanced life.

In addition to her clinical work, Adeline has a strong background in strategic operations. With over 20 years of experience in organisational leadership across various industries in Southern Africa, she brings a unique perspective to her practice, blending her expertise in operations with her commitment to mental health and well-being across the lifespan.

Miriam Matutu

Miriam’s professional journey initially began as a primary school teacher before she pursued an MA in International Relations in Geneva. For over 20 years, Miriam has worked in the development sector across various countries, ultimately settling in Zambia. Despite her many blessings, Miriam experienced a sense of being stuck for several years. This led her on a transformative exploration, during which she trained as a Professional Coach, Yoga Teacher, accredited Journey Practitioner, and advanced BLAST Technique®️ Practitioner. In April 2023, Miriam founded Trawell Coaching and embraced coaching as her full-time pursuit. In January 2024 she joined the team at Extend.

Anne Toussaint

As an Integrative Holistic Play Therapist, Anne uses play and creative arts to address children's behavioural and emotional issues. She tailors her approach to each child's unique needs, integrating various techniques. Passionate about children's play and creative arts, Anne believes that the right setting fosters resilience and helps children overcome challenges. She values trust, kindness, and human connections, aiming to help children heal, grow, and feel happy. Anne also supports parents and conducts workshops on the importance of play in schools and institutions.

Anne holds a postgraduate degree from the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC) in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University and is a member of Play Therapy International (PTI/PTUK). Before her Play Therapy career, she worked for 15 years with the UN and NGOs as a Child Rights and Protection Specialist. She now uses that experience to help organisations and schools become safe environments for children.

Tom Lister

Psychologist | Strategy consultant | Mental health coach

Thomas has over 10 years of experience in behavioural therapy and change management consulting. After graduating as a psychologist, he combined his therapy training with skills in operations management and customer experience. Thomas is dedicated to helping clients with mental health issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and substance abuse. He began his career in a general hospital in Australia and now works at Extend Care & Consultancy in Lusaka.

Tom is passionate about breaking the stigma around seeking help for mental health. He employs various techniques to support clients and believes in combining strategic and operational business insights with therapy to help teams grow and improve productivity. His leadership is enriched by his psychology background and experience in cognitive therapy, enabling him to help clients recognize mental health issues and adopt positive behaviours to reduce conflict and increase efficiency.

Dr. Bastian Jager

ObGyn consultant | Medical teacher | Medical trainer | Advisor 

Dr Bastian is an obstetrician gynaecologist trained in The Netherlands with more than 15 years of clinical experience in both Europe and Africa. He has a sub-specialization in medical education and is a certified ALSG emergency obstetrics trainer (UK advanced Life Support Group https://www.alsg.org/home). 


Even though Dr Bastian lives and works in Zambia, he has always been actively engaged with training specialist doctors in The Netherlands in emergency obstetrics and educational skills. Besides this, Dr Bastian is also an experienced obstetric and gynaecological sonographer as well as the EU delegation health adviser.  Dr Bastian favours a client-centred approach and prides himself on his thoroughness as well as the time he spends getting the complete picture and honing in on the core of a problem.

Scott Robertson

Scott Robertson BA, MSW, has over 30 years experience (previously in Canada and since 2001 in Zambia) providing counselling services related to: Substance Use, Mental health, HIV and AIDS, Grief and loss, supporting “Key” or marginalised communities and Child protection. Most recently, Scott provides Corporate Health and Wellness, also known as Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs). Scott is a Clinical Social Worker and Consultant providing services and support to local and expat individuals, couples, families and groups under his local company Envision Ltd. Zambia.

Dr. Christine MacDonald

Dr Christine is an obstetrician gynaecologist trained in the UK and a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. She has worked for 34 years, gaining a wealth of experience working in diverse settings from busy referral hospitals in the UK to the bush in Kenya where she set up and ran a 40-bed hospital. 

The aim of Christine's Wellwoman clinic is to provide a holistic approach to health care for girls and ladies from teens to the menopause and beyond.

Inge Evans

Psychologist

Inge is a psychologist, trained in South Africa, specialising in trauma, motivation, positive psychology and anxiety. She is trained in practising Eye Movement Integration Therapy, a highly effective form of trauma therapy. EMI therapy is a neuro-therapeutic method that facilitates the access and integration of traumatic memories and experiences.

Inge is deeply passionate about women’s mental health and sexual wellbeing, dedicating her career to advocating for mental health care that addresses the unique experiences of women. With a focus on empowering women, she strives to create spaces where their voices are heard and their needs are prioritised. Her work centres on promoting a holistic understanding of mental health that recognizes the complexities of the female experience, providing support, education and tools to help women thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Jenny van der Vinne

Educator | Workshop trainer | Instructional designer | Clinic manager

Jenny has been in the education field for 25 years, working in Zambia, Tanzania and The Netherlands. She began her career as a primary school teacher and later lectured at universities in The Netherlands. After earning her master's degree in education studies in 2021, Jenny shifted her focus to become a part-time clinic manager, supporting the clinic she and her husband own and run. Additionally, she became a trainer and workshop facilitator, specialising in education, agriculture and healthcare. As an instructional designer, Jenny excels in creating training programmes and workshops. Given any topic, she can develop effective and engaging training content. Contact Jenny for anything regarding teaching and learning, or any content that you need to get across to a group of learners.

Nchimunya Sikampandu

Clinic receptionist | Admin assistant

Nchimunya Sikampandu is a young, focused and ambitious lady. She pursed her degree in Business Management at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and graduated successfully in the year 2022. While in Namibia, she interned briefly and got the much needed experience to work in the corporate sector. Nchimunya  is our main receptionist here at Extend and has very good interpersonal skills. She has learned so much and keeps learning everyday,  Nchimunya is always thankful for being given a platform here at Extend to express herself and bring her ideas on board. She believes in growth and always makes sure all targets are met. Nchimunya is very knowledgeable and good at multitasking. She sees Extend elevating to greater heights in a few years from now.
